ABOUT
Start with the motion, then find the words.
Don't Name the Move is a browser-based camera sketchpad for directors, artists and AI-video makers who can picture a shot before they know its technical name.
Why it exists
Camera terminology should help communicate an idea, not block the first experiment. The studio lets you move a virtual camera, review the resulting path and export language that can be edited for a storyboard, shot plan or video-generation prompt.
Local by default
Recording and path analysis run locally in the browser. The current tool does not upload camera samples to an application server, and the raw path leaves your browser only when you choose to download or copy it.
A descriptive tool
The output is a practical description of geometry and timing, not a guarantee that every video model will interpret a prompt identically. Review and edit the result for the model and scene you plan to use.
